“I Can’t Wait Until You Mess Up Again.”

It’s how I recently challenged a leader after hearing about actions that had backfired.

As expected, she quickly shared personal lessons learned, but through her lens as an executive leader, the experience also uncovered broader organizational opportunities related to culture and strategy.

All because of messing up.

The situation would have been easier and faster to manage without the missteps, but it would not have been better – for her or the organization.

Our missteps force growth, resilience and new perspectives.
